Your flexible, Blendable, benefits

To help you get the most value from your Spending Account and take care of your health and wellness, your TextNow Blendable benefits plan gives you choice!

Each month you will receive a $250.00 contribution to your Spending Accounts.

Your monthly contributions can be allocated in one of three ways. Each year around March, you'll make your choice from the list below. This choice can't be changed mid-year.

  • 100% Wellness / 0% HSA
  • 75% Wellness / 25% HSA
  • 50% Wellness / 50% HSA
  • 25% Wellness / 75% HSA
  • 0% Wellness / 100% HSA

Selections are due by end of day 2026-02-24. If we didn't receive your selection, your benefits will proceed with ALLOCATION. You'll be able to make another change close to the next Plan benefit renewal: 2026-03-01 and that change will affect future funds only.

Your spending account options

HSA Enhanced

Funds allocated to the HSA Enhanced can be used to reimburse your eligible healthcare expenses.

These funds are a non-taxable benefit.

An eligible healthcare expense may be reimbursable, tax-free, if:
• It is a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) eligible medical expense;
• Services were provided by authorized practitioners; and
• You incurred the expense during your plan’s Benefit Period.

As long as an expense is eligible and you have funds available, there are no other plan limits on how you spend these funds – dental visits, massages, prescriptions – it’s your choice!

Your HSA Enhanced funds reset. Unused funds expire each year.

Wellness Spending Account

The Wellness Spending Account option allows the funds contributed to be used to reimburse expenses that contribute to your health and wellbeing. Things like fees for sports, fitness equipment, alternative wellness services, personal interest activities, or digital tools.

Eligible Wellness expenses

Health Support

Any product or service used for improvement of your personal physical and/or mental wellness including equipment, supplies, membership fees, beauty/cosmetic treatments, training, classes, programs, workout clothes and equipment, and activity fees.

Remote Work, Computer Products, Mobile Digital Services

This category includes furniture, devices, software, mobile and connectivity services like internet and mobile phones as well as accessories and repairs for devices. These expenses can be related to interests outside of work, or sustaining a remote working space at home. It excludes expenses associated with entertainment, or income-generating activities.

Personal Interest

Personal Interest is a Wellness category that supports activities, hobbies and creative pursuits, outside of work. This can include classes, supplies and equipment and tools for personal development like arts, cooking or other areas of interest. Expenses tied to work or earning income aren’t included. Neither are general household goods. This category is strictly for enrichment.

Exclusions

The following types of expenses are not eligible for reimbursement through the Wellness Spending Account.

  • Insurance-qualified purchases – Any products or services offered that are eligible for reimbursement through other benefits, public, or private insurance. This includes the co-pay or deductible for another insurance plan.
  • Used or second-hand purchases – An eligible expense must be a new product with an accompanying itemized receipt.
  • Abnormally dangerous activities – Any activities or products that present an inherent high consequence or extraordinary risk to yourself, TextNow, or others.
  • Expenses for others – Any expenses used solely for someone other than yourself. Exceptions may be made for family group claims which involve the Textnovian.
  • Day-to-day living expenses – Including but not limited to purchases for housing, any food/consumables, or bill payments.
  • Good or services offered by a friend or family member.
